Motor Tech Auto Repair is locally owned and operated as part of Relay Hill Auto, a Denver-based family of independent neighborhood repair shops. At the center of everything Relay Hill does is a straightforward mission: building lasting relationships with the families and neighbors we serve, and within our shops themselves.

Relay Hill was founded by Shiju Thomas, who brings a rare combination of operational depth and genuine community focus to each shop in the group. Shiju holds ASE trade certifications and is actively involved in the daily direction of the business — this isn’t absentee ownership.

The Relay Hill model is intentionally built around independent, locally rooted shops that keep the welcoming feel of a neighborhood garage while sharing advanced training, equipment, and resources that rival the big chains. We are not chains, dealerships, investor-backed groups – we are your local neighborhood repair shops.

Senior Manager

Motor Tech Auto Repair is supported by Cody, Senior Manager for Relay Hill Auto. Cody brings years of multi-unit operations experience to the group, providing the strategic guidance, training infrastructure, and operational standards that allow each shop to perform at a high level. His background spans diverse industries and organizational environments, and he applies that breadth to create consistent, people-centered experiences across every Relay Hill Auto location.

Jasmine

Store Manager

Day-to-day at Motor Tech, you’ll find Jasmine at the helm as Store Manager. Jasmine brings 15 years of hands-on automotive industry experience to this role — experience she earned from the ground up. She started as a lube and tire technician, developed her diagnostic instincts and customer communication skills through years of service advising, and helped guide Hotchkiss Auto Repair to back-to-back Best of Mile High awards for best auto repair shop in Denver — twice in three years.

The Motor Tech technician team includes professionals who have been with the shop for years. Technicians like Nick represent the kind of long-tenured expertise that matters when your vehicle has a problem other shops couldn’t figure out — people who know the shop, know the equipment, and have built a track record you can rely on.

Our technicians don’t stop learning when they leave the classroom. Continuing education is a standard expectation on this team, not an afterthought. From updated ASE certifications to manufacturer-specific training to hands-on collaboration on complex diagnostic challenges, our crew actively invests in getting better. When a vehicle presents something unusual, our technicians work together — sharing knowledge, testing hypotheses, and staying with a problem until they find the right answer.
